The clip was unveiled during the MTV Moving-picture show & TV Awards and reveals how the god of mischief met Amanuensis Mobius. Reprising his role as Loki, Tom Hiddleston appeared virtually at yesterday's award ceremony correct before the new clip was showcased to viewers. The one-minute-long taster features University Award nominee Owen Wilson — portraying Time Variance Authority's Agent Mobius — coming together the infamous Marvel adversary during an elevator scene.
The clip begins equally Agent Mobius introduces himself to Loki, who appears to be dressed in a prisoner uniform branded by the Time Variance Authority. Loki then asks the agent if he'due south beingness taken somewhere to exist killed, to which Mobius responds that he merely wants to chat while as well accusing Loki of lying and mocking how much he loves to talk.
Loki then goes on to inquire the agent almost how long he has worked with the TVA. What's curious is that Mobius' response poses more questions than it answers:

Equally confirmed in the clip, the TVA was created and monitored past the Time-Keepers, semi-humanoid creatures who are said to possess the power to manipulate temporal energy. In the clip, Loki also goes on to state his ain stance on the TVA's existence: "The idea that your petty guild decides the fate of trillions of people across all of being at the behest of three space lizards… yes, it's funny."
